BREAKING: MI Rep Steve Carra calls For Gov. Gretchen Whitmer To Be Impeached For sending COVID Positive Patients Into Nursing Homes…Resulting In 8,061 Deaths
Just days after it was revealed that the state of Michigan underrported covid nursing home deaths by 30 percent, Michigan State Representative Steve Carra has called for Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer to be impeached. Cara wrote a letter to the Michigan Speaker Of The House Jason Wentworth requesting that he form a special committee to determine if Whitmer endangering nursing home patients by forcing them to live among Covid patients and the subsequent coverup warrants impeachment.
Carra is running against U.S Representative Fred Upton (R-Mi.) in the Republican primary for the 2022 midterm elections. Upton voted with Congressional Democrats to impeach president Trump in the aftermath of the January 6th unrest. Michigan Republican Pete Meijer also voted with Congressional Democrats to impeach President Trump and is being primaried by former Housing and Urban Development (HUD) official John Gibbs, among other Republicans attempting to oust Meijer. President Trump threw his support behind both Gibbs and Carra in the primary.
“It is my great honor to endorse Michigan State Representative Steve Carra to oppose RINO (Republican in name only) Congressman Fred Upton,” Trump said in a statement issued Tuesday. “Upton has not done the job that our country needs, for years has talked about leaving office and not running again, and he voted for impeachment of the president of the United States on rigged up charges.
“He doesn’t deserve to keep his seat,” Trump added of Upton. “Steve Carra, on the other hand, is strong on crime, borders and loves our military and our vets. Steve will continue to fight for low taxes and all of the other things that the great people of Michigan want and need.” Trump said in an endorsement of Carra in September.
