Tomi Lahren posts sexy American flag-draped Halloween pic, and critics howl hypocrite
Tomi Lahren, Texas' latest political provocateur, is at it again with her latest Halloween costumes.
Wearing a "Make America Great Again" one piece, a fanny pack and flag like wings, Lahren posted a photo of herself to Instagram with the caption: "Oh LA get ready to find your safe spaces! What am I? Well if you're a conservative, I'm American AF. If you're a lib, I'm 'offensive.' Let's go."
While the appropriate reaction to her outfit can be debated, one thing cannot: U.S. Code specifically bans the flags use as "apparel, bedding or drapery." Going one step further, the law says, "no part of the flag should ever be used as a costume or athletic uniform."
Draping yourself with the American flag like a winged-conservative crusader is not allowed.
Lahren, now a commentator with Fox News, has been vocal about her disdain for football players kneeling during the national anthem, arguing it shows disrespect to the American flag. The outrage she's shown toward protesting players, juxtaposed with her outfit, has created plenty of fuel for her critics.
