City in World War 2 versus now (25 Pics)
Venlo, a border-town in Limburg, the Netherlands. Got famous after the Venlo-incident, A MI5/SS battle even before we were annexed.
After the Germans took our city, they continued to build Fliegerhorst Venlo-Straelen. This became one of the biggest nazi airfields in North-West Europe. Because of this airfield we became a target for allied bombers.
