Inside vile home of glamorous YouTube star 'who fouled house with dog poo in Tupperware and make-up stains' (11 Pics)
A glamorous YouTube star allegedly left a rented home covered in dog poo and make-up smears while racking up almost £5,000 of arrears.
Kayla Jenkins, also known as Okaylaaa, was accused last night on Channel 5's Bad Tenants Rogue Landlords of leaving a property in Prestwich, Greater Manchester, in such a filthy state that the owners felt "sick".
Landlords Paul and Paula Hopwood claimed they found dog poo in tupperware boxes, bin bags piled in the garden, curtains stained with animal urine and make-up smears on furniture.
Speaking on the TV show, Paula said: "To just walk in and see that it had been completely wrecked was absolutely soul-destroying."
But Kayla, who has more than 600,000 YouTube followers, denied she was to blame.
A spokesperson for the 24-year-old alleged the couple staged the mess to 'to make her look bad on TV' and that her mum cleaned the property before she vacated it, MailOnline reports.
The YouTube personality rented the property with her friend Casey Petchey but left after the Hopwoods were granted an eviction order after the pair racked up almost £10,000 in rent arrears, it was claimed.
Kayla's management admitted outstanding rent payments of £9,500 - half of which was owed by the vlogger - after her 'income dried up during a severe state of depression'.
She has repaid £1,950, according to reports.
A note was left on the door of the property as the couple tried to enter
Kayla was also accused of breaching her rental agreement by having 'numerous pets' inside the property even though no animals were allowed.
In response, Kayla told Channel 5 producers that she kept fewer pets than her landlord claims and that Mr Hopwood was aware she had a puppy, according to MailOnline.
On the TV show, the landlords were seen initially unsuccessful in gaining access to the property after a note was stuck to the door which read ‘still here do not enter 9th aug’.
Paula said: "It makes my blood boil.
"'She is in there, she’s making money in our house, using it as a film set for her videos and not paying her rent and there’s nothing we can do," Paul added as they stood outside the house.
The couple were seen returning a few days later to find the property, which they claimed they spent 10 years making it into a home, in a disgusting state.
An upset Paula said: 'I’d discussed all this with her, we’d said you need to love and respect it like we do and she’d said “yeah of course we will”.
And furniture was also seen damaged"To just walk in and see that it had been completely wrecked was absolutely soul-destroying."
"Ugh the smell, it actually makes me feel like I’m going to be sick."
Cameras captured a plastic container of dog faeces in a downstairs basement and what they said were curtains stained with animal urine.
Damage also documented was a smashed mirror, chipped skirting boards, peeling wallpaper, broken drawers and chewed carpets.
