Trolls slam 50-year-old as a PAEDOPHILE for dating woman less than half his age

A 24-year-old woman has defied internet trolls by dating a man more than twice her age - and says she's never been happier.

Kaylee Hollister says the 26 year age gap between her and lover Matthew Taylor is no obstacle, saying they have "insane chemistry".

But not everyone is convinced about the relationship, with some labelling the older man a 'paedophile'.

Kaylee, a jewellery designer and bar tender, says she was 'instantly attracted' to Matthew and that they have 'insane chemistry.'

Her boyfriend, meanwhile, who is an IT administrator and artisan, says he was attracted by 'her confidence and poise and also her honesty. She is so genuine and kind.'

Kaylee and Matthew initially met on Facebook via a 'friend suggestion' and chatted as friends for several months.

At first Matthew just saw her as an online pal.

He said: "She was young and involved and had a kid with someone, so I had no aspirations for her at that time.

"I found her attractive - what man wouldn't? - but I never had any ideas that we'd be anything more than casual acquaintances with shared interests."

However, fate intervened when the pair attended the same local gig.

Matthew said: "I remember being there and standing next to a couple of friends watching one of the bands play when this feeling came over me, telling me to look to my right.

"There she was! I actually felt her walk into the room!

"I walked over to her, said 'hi!' and we started talking.

"I was fascinated with her. Her bright smile, her dark hair, her light demeanor.

"We talked about our mutual interests and seemed to enjoy each other's company very much. We spent about the next hour hanging out and talking to each other and other mutual friends."

He added: "She left me with a sort of glow that I carried with me for the rest of the night."

Kaylee was equally smitten, saying: "It was in our very first meeting that we both knew we would be in each other's lives."

After the gig Kaylee messaged Matthew and the two soon became inseparable, with Kaylee drawn to his perceptiveness, intelligence and "the fact that he is unconditionally himself".

She said: "There will always be a part of me that feels there was some type of divine intervention that allowed us to come to be."

But not everyone has been as thrilled about their relationship as the couple themselves, with some people calling the 50-year-old a paedophile and others accusing Kaylee of having daddy issues.

Matthew said: "I'm actually thankful for these comments because these were people who I believed were my friends and now it's become clear that they aren't. So I, in turn, was able to cut them off."

Although he rarely responds to such accusations, calling them 'invalid and irrelevant', when he does he says he reminds people that 'she is an adult in her 20s with a child, just like a few of them were at one time, and how they would probably have considered themselves adults as well.'

Kaylee says the negative comments don't bother her much.

She explained: "I've had younger guys say things to me in some sad attempt at making themselves look better, or women telling me that 'I must have had daddy issues' in order to be this way.

"But what I take from it is that happy couples are a pretty rare thing because people are so shallow and that some people will try to pull the good energy out of those that radiate."

Although the couples' families are now close, Kaylee's mother initially struggled to accept the fact her daughter was dating a 50-year-old, not least because the two are close in age.

Kaylee said: "I also feel she wanted to make sure I was safe and secure with this person."

Matthew added: "Her dad was fine with it. He was just happy that she was being taken care of by a responsible man.

"Her mom wasn't very good about it at first but she and I are cool now that she's had some more exposure to me."

Kaylee said: "As time has come to pass my entire family has grown to love and adore Matthew."

The pair plan to move in together in Olean, New York, with Matthew's two children, Aidan, 14, Rhiannon, 16, Kaylee's two-and-a-half-year-old son Aleister and their two cats.

While neither are interested in having more children, in terms of the sex, Matthew says: "It's amazing! We satisfy each other's needs perfectly. The chemistry is outstanding! It has always been outstanding!"

Kaylee added: "I can say confidently that nothing has ever been able to compare to the sexual chemistry that we have with each other.

"I would even go as far as to say it strengthens our spiritual connection with the other in ways I never knew existed.

"This is because he is super aware and has always been more concerned with giving me pleasure rather than pleasing himself."
