Move on, Frosty: Weather Channel reporter calls Snowman a ‘Snowperson’ — and the Mockery Piles up (5 Pics)
Weather Channel field reporter Matt Seidel was subjected to some playfully mockery on social media after referring to a snowman as a "snowperson" in a tweet on Tuesday.
Seidel shared a photo of what he referred to as a snowperson with his 2.6 million followers while making note of the second snowfall of the season in Nashau, N.H.
He also shared a forecast that Boston was expected to experience its coldest Thanksgiving on record.
"[First] snowperson of the season and the 2nd snowfall in less than a week in Nashua, NH," wrote Seidel before fellow Weather Channel reporter Matt Saffer for helping to build the snowperson. "Thanks to @TheMattSaffer for the eyes, nose, etc. Thanksgiving forecast to be the coldest on record in nearby Boston with a high of 21° and wind chills in the single numbers."
