Paedophile hunters order sobbing man to observe two-minute Remembrance Day silence and 'have a bit of respect' as they make citizen's arrest after he 'bought Happy Meal for 11-year-old girl'
A group of paedophile hunters yesterday ordered a sobbing man to observe the two-minute silence as they made a citizen's arrest after he allegedly bought a Happy Meal for an 11-year-old girl.
Live-stream footage shows the 46-year-old father being seized in Hunslet, Leeds, by members of online vigilante group Predator Exposure just before 11am on Remembrance Sunday.
They try to make him observe the silence to mark the end of the First World War, telling him, 'Right, just be quiet for the silence - two minutes.' As he starts to moan, they shush him and say, 'Have a bit of respect'.
The suspect then attempts to escape but is caught and put under a citizen's arrest. A member of the group can be heard saying: 'Respect. Respect. I'm telling you now - shut it.'
He is then forced to spend the remainder of the silence sitting on the steps while sobbing into his hands.
When the silence is over, a member of the group tells him: 'Right, that's two minute silence over. Have a respect.
'Right, first of all, we're Predator Exposure, we just exposed your f*****g a***.'
The father is then quizzed about buying a McDonald’s Happy Meal that he allegedly thought was for an 11-year-old girl - who turned out to be an adult decoy named Lara.
In the arrest video, which has more than 115,000 views, the man appears to confirm he told the 'girl' to use a broomstick, a deodorant can and a banana for sex.
After hearing 5,000 people were watching him live, he tries to break free again and is held on the ground.
One of the paedophile hunters tell him: 'You'll stay there until the police come, you filthy f*****g animal.'
He said he had a slipped disc and begs: 'Please let me get up.'
He also says: 'I'm going to lose my life. I never touched her.'
Onlookers can be heard saying they are calling the police.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed they arrested a man on suspicion of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity and he is currently being questioned in custody.
