Eric Trump launches extraordinary attack on Kellyanne's husband George Conway, slamming the 'utter disrespect' he shows his 'wife, her career and place of work' and brands his 'ugly' actions 'horrible'
Eric Trump launched a blistering attack against George Conway, the husband of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, for his tweets criticizing President Donald Trump.
‘Of all the ugliness in politics, the utter disrespect George Conway shows toward his wife, her career, place of work, and everything she has fought SO hard to achieve, might top them all,’ the President’s son tweeted on Monday.
‘[Kellyanne Conway] is a great person and frankly his actions are horrible.’
George Conway, a Washington, D.C. lawyer, has been a frequent critic of Trump.
He retaliated by throwing shade back at the President's son, retweeting three tweets critical of his father.
One of those tweets, by former CNN host Reza Aslan, asks: 'Did George Conway pay money to have sex with a porn star right after his wife gave birth?'
Aslan was referring to Stormy Daniels, who alleges she had sex with Trump shortly after his wife, Melania, gave birth to Barron Trump.
George Conway's Twitter feed has been active with retweets and posts in which Conway suggests that the President is guilty of federal crimes as it relates to the ongoing Mueller investigation.

In response to Eric Trump, George Conway retweeted a number of tweets critical of the President, including Reza Aslan's tweet about Donald Trump's alleged relationship with Stormy Daniels
George Conway also retweeted a tweet by Ian Bassin who blasted President Donald Trump for the 'utter disrespect the Trumps show toward the rule of law'
He also retweeted a comment by Renato Mariotti, who asked: 'How does noting that your father engaged in witness tampering today disrespect Kellyanne Conway?'
Earlier on Monday, President Trump praised the 'guts' of longtime informal advisor and political trickster Roger Stone for refusing to testify against him in the Russia probe overseen by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.
George Conway responded immediately by tweeting out the citation of a federal witness tampering statute.
Trump tweeted his praise for Stone Monday by beginning with a paraphrase.
'I will never testify against Trump.' This statement was recently made by Roger Stone, essentially stating that he will not be forced by a rogue and out of control prosecutor to make up lies and stories about 'President Trump,' the president wrote.
'Nice to know that some people still have "guts"'! the president concluded.
The tweet was conspicuous for how it sharply contrasted with his online comments about longtime lawyer Michael Cohen, who is cooperating with prosecutors. Trump called him 'weak' on Friday, and on Monday demanded he get a 'full and complete' stenece.
Trump accused Cohen of doing 'TERRIBLE' things, all 'unrelated to Trump,' saying he 'lied' and accused of of 'fraud' and said he should get a 'long prison term.'
Whreas Cohen entered into a new guilty plea on Friday, Stone, who was taking calls from Trump throughout the campaign, on Sunday told ABC's 'This Week' there was 'no circumstance in which I would testify against the president.'

'I'd have to make things up, and I'm not going to do that,' Stone added. Asked if he expected a pardon from Trump – who has not taken a pardon for convicted former campaign manager Paul Manafort off the table – Stone replied: 'I've had no discussion regarding a pardon.'
Stone has said he expected to get indicted by Mueller.
'File under '18 U.S.C. §§ 1503, 1512,' wrote Conway, retweeted Trump's tweet about Stone.
That section of the U.S. Code states that 'Whoever . . . corruptly or by threats or force, or by any threatening letter or communication, influences, obstructs, or impedes, or endeavors to influence, obstruct, or impede, the due administration of justice, shall be' guilty of an offense.
Although George Conway is well known among Beltway Republicans, he has made no secret of his disapproval of Trump.
Last month, he said in a podcast interview that he decided not to pursue a plum job in the Trump administration's Department of Justice when it became clear the president would constantly be crossing swords with the agency.
'I'm watching this thing and you know it’s like, the administration is like a sh*tshow in a dumpster fire,' he said.
'If I got this door prize, I’m going to be in the middle of a department he’s at war with. Why would anybody want to do this?'
Conway was under consideration to be director of the DOJ's civil division but withdrew his name last year.
'I’m filling out the financial forms and it’s like – I forget what part time of year it was, it was like late April – "Man!" I’m thinking,' he recalled.
He also remembered his reaction to 'the Comey firing, and then you got [Trump] going on TV saying, "I had Russia on my mind," and it’s like, "Oh, no." And then I’m driving home one day from from New York and it’s like "Robert Mueller appointed special counsel," and then I realized, this guy is going to be at war with the Justice Department.”
Conway, already a prominent critic of the president, formed an organization of right-wing lawyers this week whose goal is to push back against Trump.
Charter members of the group, called Checks and Balances, include former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge, former acting Attorney General Stuart Gerson, former Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty and former Deputy White House Counsel Phillip Brady.
Missing from its mission statement is any mention of Conway's wife, who helmed Trump's White House quest and became the first woman to successfully bring a presidential campaign across a November finish line.
He told the podcast's hosts that he was immensely proud of her for rescuing a presidential campaign that was 'in the crapper' when she took its reins, even though the result is something he views with disgust.
'My wife did an amazing thing ... She basically got this guy elected. She steadied that boat. He was in the crapper when she took that campaign over,' he said.
Mr. Conway has become a visible Trump antagonist; his tweeted barbs become instant news because of a perception that they create friction with his more famous spouse.
'I don’t think she likes it,' he said, 'But I’ve told her, I don’t like the administration so it’s even.'
'If I had a nickel for everybody in Washington who disagrees with their spouse on something that happens in this town, I wouldn’t be on this podcast,' he added.
'I’d be probably on a beach somewhere. And the fact of the matter is, when it comes down to things we disagree about, we agree on most policy things.'
