Students who went on a blind date for their campus newspaper go viral with their VERY different interpretations of the outing - after she was horrified by him calling feminists 'toxic s****'
Two Newcastle University students who were set up on a blind date have ended up going viral after an article in their campus newspaper about their very different interpretations of the evening.
Sophia Kypriotis, 19, from London, was not impressed by fellow student Danny Tapper, 19, from Aberdeen, and cut things short after he said feminism was 'toxic' and that it 'allowed woman to act like s***s'.
However, in Danny's description he said Sophia was 'good chat' and 'a top lass', and that other than the awkwardness of the initial meeting everything was fine.
The newspaper clipping was shared on Twitter where it racked up more than 15,000 likes.

The duo went to a trendy cocktail bar 97 & social for some drinks.
Describing her first impression, Sophia said the other student was dressed fairly well and came across as friendly, however their differences quickly became apparent. He admitted the date had been cut a bit short, but said it was because he had a an early flight to Poland the next morning.
Meanwhile, English Literature student Sophia described a different scene.
Twitter users were stunned when she commented, 'It became clear we weren't suited to one other. He was a Tory and anti-feminist!'
'He called feminism "toxic", which allowed women to act like "s****s".'
After the couple left the pub, they walked towards a local falafel bar which allowed Sophia to cut the date short.
'We were standing outside my friend's house and I said it was mine so I could escape.
Twitter users were unimpressed by the couple, with users taking different sides to the argument
'We definitely won't be meeting again. I was shocked by his archaist, sexist attitude,' she said.
Danny seemed a little more open to meeting again, saying he neither loved nor hated his date.
'Just because we disagreed on a few things doesn't take away from the fact that she was a nice person and was easy to talk to,' he added.
Twitter users were left divided by the account and came down on different sides, with one user commenting 'How are schools still producing men like this?'
However, another said he was 'probably annoyed by how massively rude she sounded.'
Another said 'I get the feeling they'll both be single for a long time'
