EXCLUSIVE: 'He's a fraud, liar and deadbeat dad.' The estranged wife of hard-charging attorney Michael Avenatti claims he owes more than $2M in spousal and child support and has even stopped payments for their four-year-old son's healthcare plan (15 Pics)

The estranged wife of Michael Avenatti claims he owes more than $2 million in unpaid spousal and child support and says the 'callous' attorney has even stopped payments for their four-year-old son's healthcare plan, a claim echoed in court papers she has filed, DailyMailTV can reveal.
In an exclusive interview, Lisa Storie breaks her silence about her husband of seven years, with whom she is currently embroiled in a bitter divorce after they separated in 2017.
The fashion entrepreneur brands the high profile lawyer 'narcissistic' and a 'dead beat dad' who only cares for himself.
She told DailyMailTV: 'Michael was partying with Bill Clinton last week, he regularly hob-knobs with celebrities and the wealthy and jets all over the country, but he still refuses to pay to support his four-year-old son. He's nothing but a dead beat dad. He's a fraud and a liar.
'To see him sttanding next to young victims of abuse and representing children at the border, championing their cause, makes me sick when he doesn't care about his own child. It's callous. What kind of person does that?'

Storie says she has grown increasingly frustrated with Avenatti's refusal to pay what she says he owes.
She claims the 48-year-old California litigator - who rose to fame representing porn star Stormy Daniels in her tussle with President Trump - has employed various cynical tactics to stall a divorce settlement and to duck support payments.
According to court papers obtained by DailyMailTV, Storie claims Avenatti now owes $1,606,461.95 in back dated spousal support since his wife filed for divorce in November 2017.
But what riles Storie the most is her claim that Avenatti - a controversial figure who recently waded in on the R Kelly sex abuse case - is also refusing to pay child support for their son.
According to court documents dated January 17, 2019, Storie claims that Avenatti owes $146,154.73 in child support for the boy. That combined with storage fees, accounting, attorney's fees and interest comes to $250,689.83.
In total she says he's on the hook for $2,053,332.
Family Law attorney Matthew DeArmy, who reps Storie in her divorce, explained that his client filed a request for an order asking for spousal and child support from Avenatti and also filed a request for discovery, asking for Avenatti's financial documentation.
But he says Avenatti has been less than forthcoming.

MICHAEL AVENATTI RESPONDS TO HIS ESTRANGED WIFE'S CLAIMS

Michael Avenatti has responded with outrage and disbelief to his estranged wife Lisa Storie's claims that he is a 'dead beat dad' who owes more than $2 million in child and spousal support.
He prefaced his denials with this statement: 'All because a disgruntled ex-wife claims something in a court record does not make it true. Lisa unfortunately has been suffering from prescription drug addiction and alcoholism for years, since at least 2014.
'I attempted to get her help and she refused, which is what led to our divorce. For her sake and that of our son, I pray she gets the help she needs.'
Avenatti denied he owed Storie $2 million in payments, saying: 'This is false. There is no ruling from the court that I owe anything.
'In fact, she has been overpaid by millions of dollars. In the last 12 months alone, she has received over $330,000 in child support and millions more towards spousal support, etc.
'I have provided calculations, they show I owe nothing and have overpaid.
'She doesn't work because she is too lazy and entitled. She hasn't earned a dollar in years because she thinks work is too good for her and she should be able to live off her child support.
'Lisa is owed nothing and there is nothing in the court records to claim otherwise. Show me an order that claims otherwise.'
Avenatti flatly shot down Storie's claims that his four-year-old son has been left without healthcare. He said: '[My son] has health insurance and always has had health insurance.'
Storie told DailyMail.com the last time Avenatti saw his son was just for two hours in January and claims he is a 'dead beat dad'.
Again, Avenatti protested and blasted Storie's character, saying: 'This is a lie and completely untrue. Lisa has purposely kept me from my son.
'I am an exceptional father as evidenced by my other two daughters and the relationship I have with them and my first wife, who unlike Lisa is not addicted to drugs and alcohol.
'Lisa is not raising our son by herself. Among other things, I pay for TWO full time nannies who arrive at 6am and leave at 9pm everyday. Even holidays and weekends. This is despite the fact that she doesn’t work and has earned no income for four years.'
Avenatti labelled several of Storie's claims, including that he bought and later liquidated a brand new Range Rover and that he put her name on a lease agreement of a Ferrari without her knowledge or permission, as 'complete nonsense'.
He alleged Storie herself violated their divorce's Automatic Temporary Restraining Order by 'disposing of a Mercedes, jewelry and other assets'.
Avenatti questioned why Storie doesn't 'go get a job'.
Finally, he denied selling the couple's Laguna Beach home for $12.5 million without her knowledge.
He said: 'This is outrageous and false. Lisa's own fingerprint is on the notary book - she signed all of the relevant documents. [Storie denies this]
'Further, she never contributed a dime to the house, not one penny. She then received $1.5 million in cash when it was sold.'
He added that Lisa is not a fitness fanatic or an entrepreneur.
Avenatti also denied that his Century City high-rise apartment costs $13,000 a month or that he eats at Craig's three or four times a week.
He also said that the two-bedroom apartment in Newport Beach, California, is living in is not small but 'a $7-8k a month at a world class resort on the water in Newport Beach'.
He continued: 'We have asked for, and Michael has not provided at any time, his own arrears calculations to dispute Lisa's figures.
'If Michael wanted to get to the truth he could at least advance the cost or hire his own forensic accountant and produce the records he has in his possession.'
Regarding the money Avenatti claims he's already given his wife. DeArmey says the attorney has been given credit for 'absolutely everything' he is required to get credit for.
'He [Avenatti] is saying Lisa's math is wrong, but he doesn't say specifically where it's wrong or what he believes to be the correct math,' he said.
'He doesn't want to acknowledge the fact he owes $2million, which is in fact more now, it's most likely closer to $2.5million.'
There is a March 22 hearing to deal with a turnover order targeting Avenatti's shares and assets and life rights. DeArmey says Avenatti is attempting to quash this.
Furious Storie, who is raising their son alone in a small two-bedroom apartment in Newport Beach, California, claims her husband refuses to give her even a small amount of money for their son and claims he last saw his toddler son for just two hours at the beginning of January.
'He has given us nothing, not even a few bucks to buy our son clothes or pay for his preschool,' she says.
'I am raising him all alone and Michael rarely sees him.
'Then on February 1, I discovered he had stopped paying for the family healthcare plan which had been set up through his company, meaning my son has no coverage at all.'
In a March 4 email seen by DailyMailTV, Avenatti tells Storie there was a 'clerical error' and that the medical insurance policy is being 're-implemented'.
'We are working on rectifying this ASAP,' he added in a March 7 email, following up, 'within 48 hours'.
Avenatti also said he is 'happy' to pay for any prescriptions or medical treatment - as their son suffers through allergies and often needs an inhaler - and offered to pay Storie for anything out of pocket.
But almost two weeks later Storie says nothing had happened - the policy is still inactive and Avenatti hasn't given her a dime.
'Nothing new,' she says. 'I'm used to it now.'
What's worse, she says that in order for her to get a new private medical insurance plan she needs a formal letter from Avenatti stating he has cancelled their current policy. Again he refuses to help, Storie says.
She adds: 'The last time he spent time with our son was for two hours on a Sunday the week after new year, he couldn't care less.
'And it's always on a Sunday for dinner, because Saturdays is for Craig's (restaurant).
'Yes he FaceTimes every now and then and I always paint him in a positive light to our son, but really Michael is too wrapped up in himself.
'I let him see his son anytime he wants, he loves his father, but it's difficult.'
Storie claims, according to records uncovered by her lawyers, Avenatti had $19 million in one of his bank accounts when they split.
But where that money is now is anyone's guess, she says.
Storie's lawyer DeArmey  suggests a reason under fire Avenatti might be reluctant to hand over any financial documentation in his divorce is because he 'doesn't want other creditors to have that information.'
According to court papers, Avenatti has been accused of hiding millions of dollars from the court that oversaw his law firm's recent bankruptcy.
And in February the company, Eagan Avenatti, was put into receivership over a $10 million judgment won by a former lawyer at the firm.
What's clear, however, is that despite his troubles the brazen attorney knows how to live the good life.
The attorney rents a $13,000 a month luxe apartment at a Century City high-rise, has a personal chauffeur and eats at Craig's restaurant, an upmarket celebrity hang out, three to four times a week.
Storie also claims Avenatti - who has a penchant for $5,000 Tom Ford suits - was forced to admit buying a brand new, top of the line Range Rover after she filed for divorce - a purchase that was in breach of the Automatic Temporary Restraining Order put in place during any divorce proceedings to prohibit any spouse from spending marital assets.
His former girlfriend, actress Mareli Miniutti was photographed posing in front of the luxury car with a friend.
During a debtor exam Avenatti admitted to liquidating the vehicle.
'He always thinks he can get away with it, that he's above the law and won't get caught if he keeps pushing it,' Storie says.
'But I think the time is coming where it's all catching up with him.'
Avenatti claims the support order against him is 'fraudulent' and to disprove the order he wants to depose his wife.
'I am not turning up to a deposition to pay my attorney another $5,000 when I have already gathered the proof I need,' says a steadfast Storie.
'At the beginning I hired a forensic accountant to go through our finances and that's how we came up with the marital expenses. I'm a very detail orientated person and my attorney checked over everything.
Storie admits Avenatti left her with his law firm's share in a 2016 Honda private jet, a $350,000 2017 Ferrari 488 GT Spider, five luxury wristwatches and expensive art work, when they split.
He always thinks he can get away with it, that he's above the law and won't get caught if he keeps pushing it.
But she says that while the expensive possessions sound lucrative, in reality it's a very different story.
'When Michael signed those things over to me, he was saying, 'look I'm paying her'. But a lot of this stuff doesn't have any value. The Ferrari is a lease car stuck on consignment.
'The plane it turns out has a $2 million judgment against it, the artwork isn't easy to sell. As for the watches, Michael took a loan out against the watches for $100,000. So in reality I sold them and got back just $24,000 from a potential $124,000.
'And even if I was able to liquidate all the assets he gave me, it wouldn't cover the arrears. It has nothing to do with this month, last month, next month.
'Since July last year he has not paid me a dime - there's ongoing support he needs to pay.'
Of course, times haven't always been so dark between the couple.
Brunette beauty Storie, a fitness fanatic, says Avenatti wooed her after 'chasing me around the gym' when they both lived in Los Angeles.
The couple eventually married in 2011 in an intimate wedding ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, surrounded by just 20 family and friends.
Photos Storie has shared with DailyMailTV show the happy couple on their big day.
Storie says the relationship was strong in the beginning and she described Avenatti as a 'very fun' and 'loving' guy.
When their son came along, Avenatti stepped up and was an attentive father.
But it wasn't long before things began to sour. In January 2016 Storie made a shocking discovery.
She says the couple had bought a $6 million home in Laguna Beach, which they tore down and began rebuilding into their dream home.
'It was a two to three year project, a beautiful property on the side of a cliff, and both our names were on the title, we were very excited for it to be completed,' she recalls.
'I remember my friend comes over from Oklahoma and I'm walking through the house to show him the property. It's almost done. The contractor said, 'who are you?', I said, 'Well I'm Lisa Avenatti, I own the house,' and he said, 'not anymore'.
'I was shocked. I left the house and called Michael and he said, 'don't worry the contractor doesn't know what he's talking about.'
'But something didn't seem right so I researched it and this went on for a couple of months, we were fighting a lot. And it turns out Michael had sold the house in October 2015 behind my back for $12.5 million and had forged my signature.'
Storie alleges Avenatti took the record book of a notary public who worked for his law firm and forged his wife's signature on the property transfer documents as well as in the notary's record book in order to complete the sale of the property without her knowledge.
'That's when it all started,' she said. 'We kept fighting and fighting and fighting and he just kept spinning things.
'Then fast forward a year, I'm driving down the street and I get a call from a finance company saying my payment is late on the Ferrari. I'm like what? Michael was in trial.
'It turns out he had forged my name on the Ferrari lease as well. It's a $350,000 Ferrari and he put the lease in my name, I had no clue.'
The couple did try to patch things up with two months of intensive therapy sessions.
But Storie says Avenatti tried to blame the breakdown of the marriage on her alleged consumption of drink and drugs - a claim Storie strongly denies.
'The marriage fell apart when I found out he was lying and forging my signature and running off with the profits to a house we both owned,' she says emphatically. 'I had no issue with drink or drugs whatsoever, that is ridiculous, that is something Michael has continually tried to threaten me with, saying he will expose my so called addiction.'
DeArmey also says that Avenatti's is simply trying to 'muddy the water' by making his own counter-allegations against Storie.
Avenatti told DailyMail.com that his wife is addicted to drink and drugs, but her attorney says: If the things Mr Avenatti says are true then he would have a very serious concern about his son being in Lisa's care, yet no motion has been filed and he hasn't contacted any law enforcement or social services that we're aware of regarding his son's welfare.
'So again it's just classic deflection tactics. He knows he has nothing to say on the merits on what he's saying, so his only remedy is to insult Lisa, call her names.'
And to Storie, who runs a luxury fashion company called Ikaria Resort Wear, Avenatti has since shown his true spots.
In December news reports claimed the couple had settled their messy child and spousal support battle and that Avenatti had agreed to cut a $40,000 check for child support with more money coming in January.
But Storie claims that never happened.
She does admit Avenatti did pay her a sum of money last year as part of a temporary support agreement, but says the money doesn't even cover her legal fees.
Storie says she was back to court in July and was eventually granted a support order in October retro active to January 2018. As of today she claims the figure Avenatti owes stands in excess of $2 million.
But she says: 'After July he stopped paying.'

She adds that it has cost her $350,000 in legal fees so far and she's no closer to a settlement.
'Michael literally has never showed up to any meetings. He's never produced a document, bank statements, nothing,' she explains.
'He was ordered to pay legal fees, forensic accounting fees and support, he's in contempt because he's not paying that' -charges Avenatti denies.
There's a hearing in their case set for March 22. But for Avenatti the bitter divorce is probably the least of his worries.
In November last year, LAPD arrested him on suspicion of domestic violence stemming from an alleged incident at his Century City apartment. He was booked and released on $50,000 bail.
Initial reports, including one inaccurate account from TMZ, claimed the victim was Avenatti's estranged wife, Storie.
I didn't know he was living with some young girl and paying for her and not for his own son.
But Storie quickly released a statement denying he was ever abusive.
'I haven't seen Michael in months. It's a complete fabrication,' Storie told CNN.
'Bruises on my face? It is insanity. He wouldn't hit anybody. Especially a woman. He's got two daughters.'
Avenatti's true accuser was revealed days later as actress Mareli Miniutti in a case that was eventually dropped.
'Was Michael emotionally and verbally abusive during our marriage, yes he was,' Storie tells DailyMailTV. 'But physically abusive, no I never saw it.
'But what shocked me most was I didn't know he was living with some young girl and paying for her and not for his own son.
'He was supporting her for a year and I see her Instagram posts and she's got all these Chanel purses and Birkins (Hermès) and jewelry.
'Then I found out about the Range Rover, I was furious, at that point I was done trying to be amicable and I was done staying silent.'

Storie claims Avenatti does have a vicious streak, however.
She says he became threatening with her during heated phone calls in the months after they first split.
'He was very intimidating. What infuriated me is that here he is threatening the mother of his child while he and his porn star are the face of the Me Too movement. It p***ed me off.
'He's been blocked on my phone ever since.'
Storie is becoming more and more doubtful of ever seeing another dime from her estranged husband - especially as the attorney's troubles seem to mount every day.
Avenatti and his former law firm were accused of secreting millions of dollars from a bankruptcy court by stashing them in undisclosed accounts.

A report in The Daily Beast alleged that he was using client-trust accounts to funnel thousands to his ex-girlfriend Miniutti and pay down debts of his doomed former coffee company.
Citing new court filings, the news site claimed that as creditors pursued Avenatti in 2018 he was apparently footing the bill at a Cabo restaurant and posh Parisian bar and swingers' club and dishing out more than $230,000 to a German auto-racing team via the accounts of his new company Avenatti & Associates.
He also allegedly used two separate client-trust accounts to pay thousands of dollars to actress Miniutti over the summer, the site claims.
That's not to mention the legal battle between the attorney and his former colleague, Jason Frank, who won a $10 million judgment after Avenatti failed to pay a settlement over unpaid compensation.
In February the pair reached an agreement to place Avenatti's former firm, Eagan Avenatti, into receivership.
The day before, Frank filed a motion asking a federal judge to appoint a receiver to prevent what he called 'brazen acts of bankruptcy fraud' by Avenatti and his onetime firm.
Avenatti now operates Avenatti & Associates.
DeArmey says both he and Storie want Avenatti to turn his current troubles around.
He added: 'We want him to be a prolific, successful and brilliant attorney, who makes millions and millions of dollars a year, because at least then he might send us a check.'
