Joy Behar, co-host on "The View" erupted Friday over the Senate acquittal of President Donald Trump, complaining that his winning is making her "nuttier and nuttier."
During the outburst, Behar also attempted to rip out her earpiece, which prompted the audience to gasp.
What are the details?
"I'm crazy today," she blared, following a segment about Trump's acquittal. "He's made me crazy this week. He's winning because I'm getting nuttier and nuttier." Behar added that she's going to spend the weekend in hibernation following the news, indulging in what she would surely call "self-care." "This weekend, I'm not watching the news, I'm turning it off," she proclaimed. "I'm going to get a massage and I'm going to drink. I'm going to eat every carb in the house."
Later during the show, Behar and co-hosts Ana Navarro and Sunny Hostin criticized Trump's joyful post-acquittal speech. "What about when he says that Hunter Biden was kicked out of the military?" Behar asked, turning to co-host Meghan McCain. "President Bone Spurs has the nerve? What do you say?" An uncharacteristically quiet McCain responded, saying that Behar — as well as the rest of the co-hosts — scared McCain with erratic behavior and venom. "I don't want to say my opinion today because you're very angry today, and everyone's been very angry backstage," McCain revealed. Behar spat back, "We're very angry today." McCain responded, "I just feel like today is maybe a day for me to be a conservative quietly, because I don't want to get booed and yelled at today, and that says a lot." "You're very upset today and I don't want to exacerbate it," she added.
