Asda shopper pretends to FAINT in front of bemused customers and her own daughter after staff accuse her of coronavirus stockpiling by grabbing too many items
This is the bizarre moment a woman pretends to faint after she and her daughter were accused of coronavirus stockpiling by a security guard.
The women were at an Asda in Roehampton, London, on Saturday and the altercation is believed to have erupted over an argument about the pair being restricted on the number of purchases they could make in the store as supermarkets try and combat stockpiling.
In the surreal video, the mother dramatically 'faints' and cries out as if she is pain in a bid to get the Asda security guard into trouble - after he tries to escort the pair out. But everyone, including her own daughter, looks on in bemusement.
