The height of stupidity: Covidiots use a step-ladder to enter closed-off park - while motorcycle gangs tear across beauty spot
People have been spotted breaking lockdown rules by setting up step-ladders to enter parks which have been closed amid the coronavirus crisis.
One resident managed to snap a picture of three people hopping the walls of Belle Vue Park in Newport, Wales, while using a step-ladder to aid their climb.
All gated parks in the city are closed to pedestrians and vehicles to encourage social distancing, according to Newport Council's website.

Meanwhile, terrifying footage captured a motorcycle gang tearing across a beauty spot during the lockdown, damaging the landscape and putting people taking daily exercise at risk.
At least a dozen of the off-road vehicles, none which appeared to have licence plates, made their way to Three Cliffs Bay on the Gower in Swansea, Wales.
Some local residents were out taking a daily walk, and the quad bikers' presence left some fearing for their safety.
Andrew Oram, a father-of-three, said: 'I don't think this is the sort of thing that they would have done during normal times but they have taken the advantage of the lockdown to do it.
'It's almost an opportunity to exploit it because there are not so many people around.
'No-one was hurt as far as I could tell, but they went tearing off up the footpath and the concern is that they could have hurt someone, or a dog, coming along it.

'There has been some issues with motorcyclists cutting up the lawn at Pennard Golf Club a few days earlier as well.
'We didn't call police because they are probably under-stretched as it is already under the lockdown.'
He added: 'But the quad bikers were going in and out of the water, and one or two looked like they got stuck for a moment or two, and could easily have gone over.
'If that had happened, then emergency services might have had to respond to them and divert resources from where they are needed.'

South Wales Police are reminding people they have been given new powers to enforce government restrictions on travel and public gatherings.
It comes as officers have been patrolling the country looking to break up picnics and parties with threats of arrest or fines of up to £60 for those are breaching social distancing guidelines.
To ensure people stay at home and avoid non-essential travel, officers now have the powers to instruct people to go home, leave or disperse from an area, and ensure parents are taking necessary steps to stop their children breaking these rules.
Police can also issue a three-strike fine policy which starts at £60 for a first offence, rises to £120 for the second and reaches £1,000.
