Bizarre Twitter feud erupts between Axl Rose and Steven Mnuchin after the Guns N' Roses front man called the US Treasury Secretary an 'a**hole'

Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose got into a Twitter feud with Steve Mnuchin after he called the Treasury Secretary an 'a**hole'.
The outburst was seemingly provoked by Mnuchin's handling of the coronavirus fallout on the US economy. He recently warned that international travel may not resume until 2021 but encouraged Americans to travel within the country instead.
Rock legend Rose showed his disdain for Mnuchin in the post on Wednesday, writing: 'It's official! Whatever anyone may have previously thought of Steve Mnuchin he's officially an asshole.'

Mnuchin fired back: 'What have you done for the country lately?'
Rose replied that he was 'not responsible for 70k+ deaths.'
He continued: 'N' unlike u I don't hold a fed gov position of responsibility 2 the American people n' go on TV tellin them 2 travel the US during a pandemic.'

Rose was apparently referencing Mnuchin's interview on Fox Business Network on Monday, during which he said it was 'too hard to tell' at the moment whether international travel could open up by the end of the year.
But, he added: 'This is a great time for people to explore America. A lot of people haven't seen many parts of America.'
Mnuchin has been overseeing the distribution of stimulus checks to American households amid the pandemic.
The stimulus payments are part of a $2.2 trillion coronavirus relief package signed off by the US government in March.
The government has distributed about 130 million economic impact payments to taxpayers in less than 30 days. The IRS anticipates sending more than 150 million payments as part of a massive coronavirus rescue package.
The distribution has had some hiccups, including an overwhelmed website, payments to deceased taxpayers and money sent to inactive accounts.
