BUSTED: Ocasio-Cortez Wants to Raise Your Taxes, Just Not Pay Her Own

In a hilarious and perfect turn of events it appears Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who everyone knows wants to raise taxes on the evil rich, just got caught not paying her own taxes:

The Democratic socialist congresswoman from The Bronx still hasn’t paid a 7-year-old tax bill leftover from a failed business venture.

AOC had founded Brook Avenue Press, a publishing house that sought designers, artists and writers from urban areas to help paint The Bronx in a positive way in children’s stories, in 2012.

As the Post previously reported, public records show the state dissolved the company in October 2016. The state can make such a move when a business fails to pay corporate taxes or file a return.

The state Tax Department then filed a warrant against her now-defunct business on July 6, 2017, over a $1,618.36 unpaid bill.

As of Friday, the tax warrant had still not been satisfied, and the outstanding balance had grown to $2,088.78, the department said.

Now THAT is funny!

It’s also exactly how Democrat politicians act. One set of rules for the people, one set of rules for the ruling class.

Of course now that the cat is out of the bag she’ll be forced to cough up the cash, just to avoid any more stories about this.

You can expect she’ll go on the attack and somehow twist into the fault of the Post for exploiting her story, or some such thing.

No matter what Ocasio-Cortez will cast herself as a victim.

She’ll likely say it’s because she’s a woman of color and the Post reporter is racist, not because she’s a deadbeat.

So now we all know.
