Take That's Howard Donald today shared his controversial anti-vaccination views before criticising people for wearing designer face masks as if they were 'the new sunglasses'.

Taking to Twitter to share the bizarre string of tweets the 52-year-old singer-songwriter said he believes 'vaccines are questionable'.

He then went on to suggest that 'vaccinating the world' against coronavirus is a ploy by Bill Gates to 'make a couple more billion'.

Howard tweeted: 'Vaccines are questionable! Especially when it's vaccinating the world for pure profit. Do you think Bill Gates wants to save the world or does he want to make a couple more billion?'

He also advised people hoping to avoid coronavirus to take immune boosting herbal tablets and eat vitamin rich food during a rant about mask wearers.

Howard asked his Twitter followers: 'Also what has become of the world lately?!! People alone in cars wearing masks also I was driving down a quiet country road and lady cyclist was wearing a mask whilst riding?!

'Talk about having the fear put into people. Lack of oxygen is probably not helping the situation.'

Continuing his tirade Howard said that people who wore masks inside cars while alone 'look [like] they need carers' causing offence to some Twitter users 

He then added: 'The people i've seen [wearing masks] in cars look [like] they need carers.' 

A Twitter user named Dawn was one of many to hit back at Howard's 'offensive' tweet, writing: 'Managing to be offensive about carers, and people who might need carers, all in one tweet. Nice work.'

One Twitter user by the name of HMA said: 'I agree with all you say, not because you're famous but because you're talking sense. Keep using your platform to say what you think.'

While another, Manon, said: 'You should really get off the FB pages for treelovers and anti-vaxxers.'  

Holly Rodgers tweeted in response to Howard's criticism of mask wearers: 'I'd rather them wear masks too much than not enough...it's a bit of a weird thing to make people self conscious about right now.'

While Stacey Peaks said: 'Errr don't think you should bother tweeting Howard if you don't get it, we are wearing masks so that we don't get a virus what's so hard to understand.' 

Howard finished the rant by questioning whether he should delete Twitter, telling followers he was worried he might 'really say' what he thinks.

He tweeted: 'I think i'm gonna delete Twitter for a few weeks before I really say what I think'.

American conspiracy theorists claim, falsely, that Bill Gates is using the Covid-19 pandemic as a way to push a vaccine which includes a microchip capable of tracking people, and thus the world's population.

A recent survey conducted by Yahoo News and YouGov found more than 25 per cent of Americans believe the outlandish conspiracy theory.

Some conspiracy theorists even go as far to say that he plans to eradicate 15 per cent of the world's population with the hypothetical vaccine.

Howard ended his rant by suggesting he needed to delete Twitter for a few weeks

The Bill and Melinda Gates foundation has never proposed or funded any research into the development of a vaccine - for Covid-19 or otherwise - that includes the injection of a tracking or monitoring device.

While the charitable foundation did fund a pilot study, conducted by MIT and Rice University, into a potential vaccine delivery device that could 'impart an invisible mark detectable by a smartphone', it was entirely theoretical and would not have been capable of tracking or monitoring.

The conspiracy theory, which has gained significant traction online, cites this study in combination with another concept Gates is actively researching called a 'digital identity', which could involve cloud-based storage of a person's medical records and personal identification documents - accessible only with the consent of the owner.
