China and Russia are actively spreading false information on COVID-19. Be aware.

A study has found that Covid 19 misinformation (carefully disguised as fact based discussions) is being spread by Russian, Chinese, Turkish, and Iranian government backed "news" agencies. People are sharing these stories on social media at much higher rates than information provided by reputable news agencies. This massively increases the impact of this misinformation. Carefully check the source of your news story (especially if it seems to address an odd narrative) before sharing anything!
