LeBron James and his Lakers teammates wear parody MAGA hats demanding justice for Breonna Taylor ahead of last night's NBA game

LeBron James together with the Los Angeles Lakers sent a clear message on their pre-game outfits on Tuesday night before the opening game of their first-round playoff series against the Portland Trail Blazers.
As they made their way to the arena, James and his teammates wore parody Make America Great Again hats similar to the ones worn by President Donald Trump.
Instead of 'Great Again', which had been crossed out, the cap read 'Make America Arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor.'

James also wore a t-shirt that read 'By Any Means.'
'By Any Means‼️ Lets Get It #JusticeForBreonnaTaylor,' James wrote on his Instagram page.
James' teammates were also spotted wearing the distinctive red caps before Tuesday night's game
Anthony Davis, Dwight Howard, Jared Dudley, Quinn Cook, Rajon Rondo, Danny Green, and JR Smith were among other Lakers athletes who donned the baseball cap in protest at Breonna Taylor's death.

Ever since the killing, there have been demands for justice including from other NBA players who are bringing attention to the case.
James had previously spoken about the Taylor's death during the team's time in the bubble.

'The same energy that we have on the floor is the same energy that we have towards having justice for Breonna Taylor and her family,' James said. 'That's the energy that we bring to the game. That's just who we are.'
'We want the cops arrested who committed that crime,' James said during a press conference last month. 'As one of the leaders of this league, I want Taylor's family to know and the state of Kentucky to know … we want justice. And that's what it's all about. What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong. And this is a wrong situation that's going on.
Five months on from Taylor's death, the Lakers' statement showed that the team and basketball league are determined to keep some attention focused on the case.
Taylor was shot dead by police officers during a no-knock search warrant in which her family say police failed to identify themselves before breaking down the door and firing into her apartment.

Her boyfriend, Kenneth Walker, ended up firing one shot towards police before they returned fire.
Walker has long asserted that he and Taylor did not know who was breaking into the apartment.
Taylor was shot eight times while she was lying in bed. Police found no evidence that she was involved in the drug trafficking ring for which the search warrant had been issued.
The family filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the three officers involved, Brett Hankison, Myles Cosgrove and Jonathan Mattingly.
Hankison was fired in June, but Cosgrove and Mattingly are still employed by the Louisville police department. None have been arrested or charged in Taylor's killing.
Taylor's family met with Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron and Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer last week to discuss the case.
Their lawyer, Ben Crump, said that he expected charges to be filed against the officers 'sooner rather than later'.
Her family has also said that they are 'not going to wait forever' after learning that the state AG was still conducting witness interviews and waiting on ballistics reports from the FBI more than three months on after her killing.
