REVEALED: Giuliani witness who claims he saw Philly voting fraud is a convicted child sex offender: Poll watcher called to Rudy's parking lot presser was jailed in 1998 for exposing himself to two young girls
The first witness Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani called at a weekend press conference claiming widespread election fraud is a convicted sex offender who served time after exposing himself to two young girls.
Although disturbing and awkward for Trump's legal team, the disclosure that Giuliani's witness was a convicted sex offender does not blow up his entire case: he claims he has dozens more who will testify.
Giuliani had also promised more legal cases would be lodged Monday although as of midday, none had so far been registered.
Daryl Brooks, who served as a poll watcher for Republicans and claims to be a Philadelphia resident, spoke at Giuliani's Saturday presser at Four Seasons Total Landscaping. But he was not clearly identified at the time and his name become clear Monday.
'We feel that it was not fair at all,' he said, claiming he was not allowed to properly view ballots being counted. 'It's such a shame,' he said.
Brooks served jail for a sex offense in 1998, after being accused of exposing himself to two girls, ages 7 and 11. He denied the charges, but served three years on charges of sexual assault, lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child.
Politico reported on Brooks' past Monday, after Giuliani's press conference had already drawn ridicule after President Trump mistakenly tweeted it would be held at the Four Seasons hotel downtown, then had to pull it back and reveal it was at a landscaping company that turned out to be located next to a sex shop and a crematorium.
Brooks was also thousands of dollars behind on child support payments, according to media reports.

The presser had already drawn mocking commentary on line after the president announced it would be at the luxurious Four Seasons hotel but it was instead at a parking lot outside Four Seasons Total Landscaping

'We will have as many witnesses as the court needs. Right now it could be as many as 90 witnesses. That's called evidence,' Giuliani said at the press conference.
He told Fox News on Sunday he had '60 or 70 witnesses,' but said in the same interview 'There are upwards of 50 witnesses.' He said some were afraid to reveal their identity for fear of reprisals.
The mayor of Trenton immediately recognized Brooks, also a perennial candidate who has run for the House and Senate, when viewing the event. 'I started watching it and all of a sudden I was like, ‘there’s New Jersey’s perennial candidate claiming to live in Philadelphia and Giuliani claiming him to be a poll watcher and Philadelphia resident," mayor Reed Gusciora tol Politico.
A Democratic official told the publication he believed Brooks got hired by Hillary Clinton's campaign in 2016.
Brooks said at the presser that he lived in Philadelphia, 'for about two years.'
'I came out here to support our president,' he said. 'A lot of us were excited about the president winning a second term.' He claimed election officials 'would not allow us to see anything that was happening. We feel that it was not fair at all.'
Also present at the event were former Trump campaign manager Cory Lewandowski, an advisor to the campaign.
The revelations come amid a split among Trump's advisors about whether he should relent or keep up his multi-pronged legal fight. Giuliani said the campaign may file as many as 10 lawsuits.
An 2008 article described Brooks turning himself into Mercer County, New Jersey sheriff's department officials for owing $70,000 in child support.
Brooks' Facebook page states that he moved to Philadelphia in June 2019.
One image on his page features a picture of Brooks wearing a yellow bandanna that says 'F*** Tom Wolf,' the Pennsylvania governor. Another says 'F*** Phil Murphy,' the Democratic governor of New Jersey.
