'We're going to win all of them': Trump campaign adviser predicts president will sweep Sun Belt states to secure Election Day victory over Joe Biden
A senior campaign adviser for President Trump predicted that he will win re-election on Tuesday by sweeping key Sun Belt states where polls show a virtual tie or slight lead for his Democratic rival, Joe Biden.
Jason Miller said on Sunday that the Trump campaign expects to pick up electoral votes from the major key battleground states in the Southeast and Southwest that he won in 2016.
Miller told ABC News that Trump expects to sweep victory in Arizona, Georgia, Florida, Texas and North Carolina, giving him the necessary number of electoral college votes to clinch a second term in the White House.
‘I said I believe that we’re going to win all of them,’ Miller said. ‘There are multiple pathways [to victory].

‘You look at Arizona, where I’m very confident, very safe, that we’re going to win Arizona.
‘But even if for some reason we didn’t have Arizona, we could pick off Nevada, a place where our modeling shows that we’re going to win on Tuesday, as well as Michigan.’
In 2016, Trump defeated the Democrat, Hillary Clinton, by nearly four points in Arizona. But recent polls show the president trailing to Biden in the Grand Canyon State.
The FiveThirtyEight data news site, which weighs all of the major polling and calculates a candidate’s odds of winning, gives Biden a 70 per cent chance of defeating Trump in Arizona.
Nevada could prove even tougher for the president to win, since FiveThirtyEight gives Biden an 87 per cent chance of winning there. All of the recent major polling in Nevada has Biden ahead by between 2 and 9 percentage points.
Michigan appears to be further out of reach for Trump than either of the other two states.
Biden’s polling numbers in the state have been strong. A Siena College/New York Times poll released this weekend gives the former vice president an 8-point lead in the Wolverine State.
In 2016, Trump shocked the political world by winning states once thought to be part of the Democrats’ ‘blue wall’ - Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

Polling in all three states gives Biden the edge, particularly in Wisconsin, where some surveys have the former vice president ahead by double digits.
Pennsylvania, with its 20 electoral college votes, could prove to be a tipping point state.
Millions of voters in Pennsylvania sent in their ballots through the mail. It could take days to sort through all of the ballots and count the votes, a scenario that could lead to legal challenges if the result is close.
Miller told ABC News on Sunday that Biden needs to win all three of those states in addition to Minnesota in order to have a chance to reach 270 electoral college votes.
‘If President Trump wins just one of those - three of the four he won last time - he will be re-elected president,’ Miller said.
Trump would need to secure victory in states once thought to be safe for him - Georgia, Texas, and North Carolina.
Recent polls show a virtual dead heat in those states.
Miller said winning the Sun Belt states and one of the four Midwestern states would ‘put President Trump over the top.’
‘So we have multiple pathways we feel very good about where we’re going,’ he said.
Miller predicted that Trump would receive a greater share of minority votes than he did in the last election.
‘President Trump is going to get well over 10 per cent of the black vote,’ Miller said.
‘I think he’ll get over 20 percent of African-American men. President Trump will probably get 40 percent of the Latino vote.’
Miller added: ‘The entire demographic shift within these parties. It’s a different world now, George, and that’s why we’re trying to turn out our supporters.’
Miller said on Sunday that ‘smart Democrats’ believe Trump will be ahead on Election Night.
The campaign adviser predicted that Democrats are ‘going to try and steal it back after the election.’
‘We believe that we’ll be over 290 electoral votes on Election Night, so no matter what they try to do, what kind of hijinks or lawsuits or whatever kind of nonsense they try to pull off, we’re still going to have enough electoral votes to get Trump re-elected.’

It was reported earlier on Sunday that Trump will prematurely declare himself the victor of election on Tuesday night if it appears he is 'ahead' of Biden, even if a ton of electoral college votes are still unknown.
The president has privately discussed in detail potential November 3 scenarios, three people familiar with his private comments told Axios in a report released on Sunday – including walking up to the podium on Tuesday and declaring he has won before official results are revealed.
It's likely some states will still not know which candidates are earning their electoral college votes on Tuesday as record-setting numbers of voters have cast their ballot by mail in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar reminded NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday morning that 'elections have never been called on election night.'
