Conservative conference CPAC canceled rapper they had scheduled an hour before Donald Trump's comeback speech because they 'learned' about his anti-Semitic views

Conservative Political Action Conference organizers have canceled the rapper Young Pharoah's appearance on Sunday after learning he held anti-Semitic views.

'We have just learned that someone we invited to CPAC has expressed reprehensible views that have no home with our conference or our organization,' CPAC's Twitterfeed said Monday. 'The individual will not be participating at our conference.'

Young Pharoah was to appear Sunday afternoon in a panel discussion at the Orlando-based conference, which has a theme this year of 'America Uncanceled.'

An hour later, former President Donald Trump is expected to make what's being billed as his political comeback speech.

Earlier Monday, the left-leaning Media Matter for America published some of Young Pharoah's anti-Semitic screeds, including that Judaism is a 'complete lie' and 'made up for political gain,' and 'all the censorship & pedophilia on social media is being done by Israeli Jews.'

Young Pharoah blasted CPAC's organizers for #CENSORSHIP and also called pulling the plug on his appearance #RACIST and a #DICTATORSHIP. The rapper said he would debate a rabbi for $50,000 after the American Jewish Committee tweeted out that he didn't deserve to appear

In an Instagram post, he used #JewTube instead of YouTube.

He's also claimed that 'all of these big tech [companies], media, & social media platforms are controlled by CCP & Israel through Jewish CEO & corrupt Democrats.'

Young Pharoah has also pushed out conspiracy theories, including Pizzagate, to his followers.

He said in an Instagram post that he supported polygamy because 'if gay marriage can be legal than polygamy should be too!'

Young Pharoah's name was scrubbed from the official program by early Monday evening.

He reacted to the cancelation by calling the conference out on Twitter.

'THIS IS #CENSORSHIP AT ITS BEST!' he wrote. 'ALL BECAUSE I SAID "I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THE VALIDITY OF #JUDAISM AND AM WILLING TO PLACE $50,000 ON MY SELF TO DEBATE THE TOP #JEWISH RABBI."'

'NOW IM NO LONGER INVITED TO CPAC,' he complained, including the hashtags #RACIST and #DICTATORSHIP in his tweet.

He tweeted he would debate a rabbi, after the American Jewish Committee tweeted that Young Pharoah 'has no place on the #CPAC stage.'

'Young Pharaoh uses his platform to spread horrific antisemitic lies,' the group also said. 'CPAC leadership must denounce his antisemitic conspiracy theories and act to ensure that Jew-hatred has no place at the conference.'

While the current crop of conservative leaders have taken up the mantle of being against so-called 'cancel culture,' the conference has had to drop controversial speakers in the past.

In 2017, writer Milo Yiannopoulos was disinvited after videos came to light where he seems to make light of pedophilia and the grooming of boys in the gay community.

In another controversial move, CPAC will be taking place in-person this year despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Government health experts have repeatedly warned against having mass gatherings.

The conference, which usually takes place in National Harbor, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C., was moved to Orlando, where there are less stringent COVID-19 rules.

General admission tickets, which cost $330, are listed as sold out, as are the premium silver package tickets, which were being sold for $2,500.

Attendees can still sign up to go at the gold level, which cost $7,500.

The 2020 conference was where some of the first reported cases of the coronavirus spread in the D.C. area.
