Boy, 14, is charged with murdering a Colorado mom, 32, after firing at her Land Rover six times as she drove home from dinner in seemingly unprovoked attack
A 14-year-old boy is among those charged with the shooting death of a Colorado mom in Denver last month.
The Denver District Attorney's Office announced the charges in the death of Pamela Cabriales, 32, who was shot in her car on February 20 around 10:45pm.
A coworker told FOX31 that she and Cabriales went to dinner at Ocean Prime in Denver and that the shooting as they left to return home.
Multiple shots were fired into Cabriales' 2008 Land Rover SUV during the incident, with at least one bullet striking her in the head, which ultimately killed her after several days in a hospital.
It is not clear why she was targeted in the attack.

A witness told police the suspect was standing beside a four-door Honda when he allegedly fired six shots into the SUV, according to The Denver Post.
Eight bullet holes were found in the windshield of the Land Rover and two shell casings were found on the street near the car.
The 14-year-old has not been identified because he's a minor, but he's facing two first-degree murder counts, as well as criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder with extreme indifference and criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault with extreme indifference.
A motion has been filed to have the 14-year-old's case moved from a juvenile court to an adult court.
Neshan Johnson, 18, is also being charged with two counts first-degree murder and is suspected of being the driver of the Honda.
Johnson is also facing a count of criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder with extreme indifference, as well as a count of criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault with extreme indifference, and one count of vehicular eluding.
The two boys were arrested the day after the shooting when a police officer recognized their Honda from an earlier shooting at a McDonald's.

CBS4 reports a passenger in the same Honda pointed a handgun at workers in the fast food restaurant and fired three shots into the restaurant, though no one was injured.
The police officer gave chase to the vehicle before it plowed through a chain-link fence, hit a wooden pole, and knocked down a fire hydrant.
Johnson fled the Honda on foot and was later found hiding behind a shed. Two minors were arrested from the car.
No charges have been announced yet for the third suspect arrested in the case.
Two AR-15 rifles were found in the Honda and more than a dozen rounds of ammunition were found in the shed where Johnson was found.

The night before the McDonald's shooting on February 19, there was also a shooting in northeast Denver that may be connected to the Honda.
Patch reports Cabriales was a real estate agent in the Denver area.
A GoFundMe has been created to raise money on behalf of the 6-year-old Leo, who Pamela leaves behind.
'The funds collected will be for her 6-year-old son Leo as an investment for college,' the GoFundMe reads.
'Pamela Cabriales is an amazing human being and will always go out of her way to help those in need.
'Leo lights up the room with his love, smile, and heart. Leo is Pamela’s eyes and world.
'She will do anything to make sure her son is taken care of. She is an amazing mother, daughter, sister, auntie and friend.'
So far, over $29,000 have been donated, which will go towards a college fund for Leo.
