Security camera in Cracker Barrel parking lot captures baffling moment woman, 49, kneels down in front of pickup and driver runs over and seriously injures her
Police are hunting for a pickup truck driver who ran over a woman kneeling in a Florida parking lot last week before fleeing the scene.
Footage shows the white truck driving away from the Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Fort Myers on March 8.
The driver got into the car which was towing a utility trailer and slowly set off from the parking lot at 11.30am.
A woman was kneeling in a parking lot in Fort Myers, Florida, last week near a white pickup truck
The female pedestrian, 49, remained stationary in the road as the truck rolled towards her.
It is not known why she was kneeling on the ground.
As the truck pulls forward to exit the parking lot, its front right tire strikes the woman, knocking her over.
The car then runs over the woman before continuing its journey, not stopping to check what had caused the bump in the road.
The woman is seen struggling in the parking lot as the truck exits on to 4260 Boatways Road.
