Texas 14-year-old girl in 'extreme danger' after being abducted by her estranged sex-offender father

 Police are searching for a 14-year-old Texas girl who they warn is in 'extreme danger' after she was allegedly abducted by her sex offender father.

Justin Shaun Gray, 40, fled with his 14-year-old estranged daughter, Lexus Nichole Gray, in Point last Wednesday. 

Gray is accused of abducting Lexus after assaulting the teenager's mother and chasing her with a knife.


Police said Gray fled the area on foot after abducting the girl.

An Amber Alert was issued that described Gray as 'dangerous and wanted'.

'He is a registered sex offender and has a parole violation warrant that is active,' the alert from the Rains County Sheriff's Office said. 

Authorities described Lexus as being in 'extreme danger'. 

Gray had been convicted of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl in 2009, records show. 


He was convicted of two counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact. 

The pair were last believed to be in the Mesquite and Dallas area, according to authorities.   

Gray doesn't have custody of his daughter.  

Lexus is described as being 5'6' and 160 lbs with blond hair and hazel eyes.

Gray is described as 6'1' and 200 lbs with black hair and hazel eyes.
