Security eventually arrived and tried to break up the violence.
Miami-Dade Police told Local 10 News they attended the scene but no one wanted to press charges.
One person, identified by police as Jameel Tremain Decquir, 20, was arrested for disorderly conduct by MDP.
Local 10 said Decquir and three others were waiting to board a flight to Chicago when they were told there was only three stand-by seats available.
The group was given the choice of one of them staying behind or the whole party catching a later flight.
They then began brawling with three other people, although police do not know what sparked the confrontation.
The fight split into two brawls, and one of the male victims ended up covering a woman on the ground as they were repeatedly punched and kicked, police said.
A victim was treated for minor injures at the scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
Witnesses said police remained on the scene for more than an hour.
