I'm under 40, work with my hands, and love helping others. Grew up with 5 kids and 2 adults in a two bedroom. My family has always worked hard AND struggled. I don't mean that as a weird flex...what I mean is that our hard work is undervalued. We are all taken advantage of. I urge people to educate themselves on labor laws to protect themselves from employers and join your applicable union if possible. Most Viral edit: someone asked "what else can we do besides joining said applicable union?". Let's vote for politicians that want better working conditions. People deserve vacation time and family medical leave. And let's not roll back the hard work of the brave men and women who fought and died on picket lines like in Ludlow Colorado.
