Woman reveals she got out of jury duty by donning an offensive OUTFIT that 'screamed send her home' - as she proudly shows off many wacky options and the final 'I love boys and booze' T-shirt she chose in viral video
An American woman decided to dress up as a 'menace to society' in a tacky T-shirt, tight workout shorts, and Crocs in order to get out of jury duty — and her plan worked.
Mia was scheduled for jury duty yesterday and desperately wanted to avoid being stuck at the local courthouse for several days, so she devised a plan to wear an outrageous outfit that would get her out of being chosen for a jury.
After trying on several different outfits in a viral TikTok video, Mia went with a sloppy but bold look that she was sure would make the lawyers think she had 'terrible judgement' — and the tactic paid off, with Mia filming a follow-up video as she left court the next day.
She objects! Mia was scheduled for jury duty yesterday and wanted to be sent home
In a viral TikTok video, she tried on four different outfits she hoped would make the lawyers think, 'Send that b**** home' — including this one with biker shorts and a tacky T-shirt
Bad judgement: She also showed off the Crocs she paired with the look, which she said had a 'menace to society' vibe

'Hey besties, I have jury duty in the morning, just found out I literally have to show up,' she said in a video that has been viewed 2.7 million times.
'I’ve pushed it off like twice and I do not want to go. So I’m gonna try to put together an outfit that just screams, "Send that b**** home.'"'
First, she showed off outfit choice number one — the theme of which, she said, was 'menace to society.'
It included a baggy 3XL T-shirt that reads: 'I love shoes, booze, and boys with tattoos.'
'I just think that screams, "I have terrible judgement and shouldn't be a juror,' she explained.
Revealing: Option number two was 'just to kind of look like a walking distraction. I wanted to show as much cleavage as I was comfortable with, lots of leg'
She showed off the low-cut red top worn with distressed cutoff denim shorts and mid-calf brown cowboy boots
She paired it with a claw clip in her hair, Lululemon biker shorts, and pink Crocs with decorative Jibbitz 'just to really seal the deal that I shouldn't be trusted.'

'I think if I chose this option, I would talk in a southern accent the entire time,' she said with a fake twang. 'And they would think I had better things to do, like take care of my horse Blue Jeans, I don't know.'
She even added a bright blue cowboy hat, which she thinks screams, 'She should not make any decision for America, at all, even though she represents it well.'
Intimidating: Option number three was her 'Elle Woods option,' which she said makes her look 'overqualified'
Option number three was her 'Elle Woods option,' which she said makes her look 'overqualified.'
'Like if I showed up and the other jurors saw me in this 'fit, they would be intimidated and want to go home, therefore they would send me away, because I am just better than everyone.'
The outfit includes a light-colored mock turtleneck, floral pants, and a yellow blazer.
Finally, her last option was disheveled with an 'I just woke up like this/I'm unwell' vibe, made up of a wrinkled fraternity T-shirt, Lululemon leggings, and yellow slippers.
'The idea is just, I do not look like I want to be here. And I think to add to the effect, I take this mascara, and kind of just —' she says, smearing the makeup brush on her eyes.
'Make it look like I just had a mental breakdown. Maybe show up sobbing,' she said.

Woohoo! She said option number one worked, as she filmed herself leaving court in the look (which she topped with a sweatshirt because she was cold)
@miagravess when the judge looks at you and says “you’re free to go ” also i wore the 1st option but i had to put a sweatshirt on bc it was cold浪

Mia asked viewers — 2.6 million of them so far — to weigh in one which one they thought she should wear.
Ultimately, she ended up picking option number one, and updated viewers to say that it worked.
She filmed herself leaving the courthouse with a sweatshirt pulled over the large T-shirt and biker shorts.
Mia also noted that she is not against doing jury duty and believes that more younger people should serve — but this was a particularly inconvenient week for her.
'Mainly didn't want to go today because it's my last week at work and I'm moving!' she said.
