US Rep Cori Bush Uses Outrageous Lie To Fan Racial Flames...Tries to Make Shooting of 3 White Men By Rittenhouse A Racial Issue

Representative Cori Bush (D-Mo.) has showcased her stupidity in a Tweet about the Kyle Rittenhouse case, making it seem like she doesn’t even know that no Black people were shot by Rittenhouse.

Bush tweeted that if Kyle Rittenhouse isn’t found guilty, then it means it’s alright for white supremacists to go around and shoot Black people. She also suggested that, at a 2014 protest in Ferguson following the fatal shooting of Michael Brown Jr, white supremacists hid behind a nearby hill and shot at the protestors.

“When we marched in Ferguson, white supremacists would hide behind a hill near where Michael Brown Jr. was murdered and shoot at us. They never faced consequences. If Kyle Rittenhouse gets acquitted, it tells them that even 7 years later they still can get away with it.”

Bush’s Tweet makes little sense for a variety of reasons, and it shows her inability to understand the situation and how she has blown things out of proportion to promote her own agenda.

First of all, no Black people were killed by Rittenhouse, so it makes no sense that Bush would involve race in this matter. The only purpose this Tweet serves is to incite additional anger among the Black community and those who do not understand the nature of this case.

Second, Bush claims that white supremacists were shooting at the 2014 Ferguson protests. However, Ferguson Police Chief Frank McCall Jr says he had no knowledge or record of this happening. Additionally, a multitude of Twitter users have responded to Bush’s Tweet saying her claims are false, pointing out that there was indeed someone who fired shots during the protest, but it was a Black man, Jeffrey Williams, who was shooting at police officers.

There was one ignorant Twitter user who attempted to defend Bush’s false remarks and even claimed to have evidence in support of Bush’s statement. They wrote “For the people saying it never happened”, and attached a link to an article. This did nothing to prove any point whatsoever because, funnily enough, the story linked in the Tweet was about a totally different protest.

For some reason, Bush feels the need to make the Rittenhouse case a racial issue when it is NOT. Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley (D-Mass.) also felt the need to make unsubstantiated claims about the Rittenhouse case in order to turn it into an issue of race.

Pressley previously referred to Rittenhouse as a “white supremacist domestic terrorist”, when zero evidence of this exists. It was simply a claim she made to turn this into a racial problem.

Rittenhouse was not a white supremacist and was not shooting at Black people. The men he shot were White. A lot of people have been led to believe otherwise through misinformation, spread not only through our news media but through our members of Congress.

Those in high-ranking positions of political power should not be throwing around false accusations or unsubstantiated statements that will increase hatred and violence in our country. We should not have a Congresswoman spreading falsities to bolster hatred towards Rittenhouse and frame the situation like something it was not.
