MN: They’re Baaack! BLM Rioters Chase, Beat, and Jump On Top of Moving Vehicle [VIDEO]

 As the first day of the Kim Potter trial began yesterday, Black Lives Matter demonstrations turned violent when rioters attacked a vehicle and tried to pull the driver out of his car.  WATCH:

The rioters can be seen beating on the car before trying to open the doors.  Some of them jumped on the car as it tried to get away from the violence, while other yelled obscenities at the driver.

Minneapolis voted on a measure to defund the police and replace it with a “Department of Public Safety” in November. The measure was supported by almost 44% of the city’s residents.  Though the movement continues to gain traction, some Democratic Minnesota politicians have admitted it may be a mistake in the face of the national crime wave.  “I think allowing this moniker, ‘Defund the police,’ to ever get out there, was not a good thing,” said Minnesotta Attorney General Keith Ellison (D).

Kim Potter is on trial for the shooting of Daunte Wright.  Wright attempted to flee from officers during a traffic stop due to outstanding arrest warrants and was shot and killed by Potter after he crashed in to a concrete barrier.  Potter is charged with First and Second-Degree Manslaughter.  The charges carry a maximum sentence of 15 and 10 years respectively if Potter is found guilty.

Daunte Wright has an extensive criminal history.  He was charged with carrying an illegal .45 Ruger, skipping his initial court date before being stopped by police officers in April of 2021.  In the wake of the shooting, his social media showed him flashing gang signs and using drugs.

In the days following the incident, nearly a hundred people were arrested as they tried to break in to the Brooklyn Center Police Department and threw projectiles at officers.
