“There’s Going To Be Some Media Accountability Coming Soon” Rittenhouse Puts Liberal Media On Notice

 Last month, Kyle Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges after the Kenosha riots in August of 2020.  Rittenhouse faced five charges of first degree reckless homicide, first degree reckless endangerment, first degree intentional homicide, and attempted first degree homicide as well as a weapons charge.  After being defamed by the media as a terrorist, white supremacist, and a murderer, Rittenhouse seems ready to push back against them.

“There’s going to be some media accountability coming soon,” Rittenhouse told Fox News during an interview.

Nicholas Sandmann, a young conservative activist who was also defamed by the media, settled with NBC Universal this past week for an undisclosed amount.  When Rittenhouse was asked for his thoughts on the settlement, he said “Good for him”.

Sandmann became a target of liberal ire after a heavily edited video in 2019 showed him confronting activist Nathan Phillips at a pro life protest in Washington DC.  As more details emerged, it became clear that Sandmann and his fellow students at the protest were not harassing Phillips and that Phillips was the one who approached them.

Sandmann has expressed support for Rittenhouse suing the media for defamation in the past. 

“This is the problem with liberal media outlets in the United States,”.  “They want to get the story first, get the most views, make the most money, and advance the agenda from liberal patrons. These outlets cover themselves when they are wrong with small footnotes at the ends of long articles, clarifying that new information has come out and that they have updated their coverage.” He said in an article for the Daily Mail.
