Famed Pathologist Calls For Second Autopsy on Comedian Bob Saget: “There Is NO WAY This Could Have Occurred With One Fall”
A forensic expert is calling for Bob Saget’s body to be reexamined after many pathologists have questioned the ruling of an “accidental death” after the autopsy showed major skull fractures.
Saget died while inside his hotel room in Orlando, Florida on January 9, where it is believed he suffered a fatal head injury. Now, health experts are questioning the initial autopsy review, in which Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Stephany claimed Saget’s injuries were the result of a fall.
New medical professionals are reporting. that Saget’s injuries were consistent with being hit in the head with a baseball bar or falling from a height of up to 30 feet.
Renowned forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht wants to do a second autopsy and full investigation into the hours before the actor died.
“All of these injuries fractures and areas of hemorrhage could not have been sustained by one fall,” said Wecht. “I am just very surprised that the medical examiner attributed it to one fall. There is no way this could have occurred with one fall.”
“I would like to see that medical examiner and the consultant he dealt with explain how you get all those injuries from one fall,” Wecht added. “No way!”
Another medical professional, neurologist Dr. Jason Freeman talked to MSNBC about these new questions surrounding Saget’s death.
