Race-Obsessed Queen of “The View” Makes Repulsive Statement About Holocaust…Will Dishonest Media Let It Slide?
While discussing the Holocaust on ABC’s “The View”, Whoopi Goldberg insisted that the genocide was not about race, prompting immediate backlash from across the nation.
The talkshow was conversing about a graphic novel about the Holocaust that a school district in Tennessee was voting to ban due to its “inappropriate language” and nudity. Amidst this conversation, co-host Ana Navarro referenced a Florida bill that seeks to prevent classroom conversations that could make students feel uncomfortable about race or gender. Goldberg then chimed in with the stunning comment that “the Holocaust isn’t about race”.
“No, it’s not about race,” continued Goldberg. “It’s about man’s inhumanity to man. That’s what it’s about.”
“But it’s about white supremacy,” interjected Navarro. “It’s about going after Jews and Gypsies..”
“But these are two White groups of people… you’re missing the point,” insisted Goldberg. “The minute you turn it into race it goes down this alley. Let’s talk about it for what it is. It’s about how people treat each other.”
Sparks fly as The View panel confronts Whoopi after she says "the Holocaust isn't about race. No. It's not about race."
"Well, the considered Jews a different race," Joy Behar says.

These comments prompted immediate backlash from social media, including The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro who Tweeted out a direct quotation from Hitler’s “Mien Kampf”: “Is not their very existence founded on one great lie, namely, that they are a religious community, where as in reality they are a race?”

To declare that the Holocaust was not about race is an absolute abomination, considering the obsession the Nazis had with race and portraying the Jewish people as a raced rather than a religion. Hitler’s entire platform was founded on racial supremacy, with the goal of eliminating the Jewish race in Europe to achieve “racial purity”.
In a time of increasing anti-Semitic crimes, Goldberg is trying to minimize the racially-charged genocide that left 6 million Jewish dead, and millions more displaced.
Many people also expressed their disdain with Goldberg pretending to be Jewish for years to maintain her stage name, and now she is taking it upon herself to redefine the Holocaust because she wants to keep issues of racism reserved for Black people and their historical struggles.
I like how Whoopi Goldberg (Caryn Johnson) pretended to be Jewish for years because she liked the stage name she gave herself. Now she’s all “Jews aren’t a race, they’re white, and the Holocaust was just y’all white on white violence.”

This just goes to show how the radical Left wants to eliminate all acknowledgement of any other type of racism besides towards the Black population. These type of ignorant assertions are not only dangerous, but wildly offensive to the Jewish people whose families and ancestors have been deeply affected by the Holocaust and continuing anti-Semitic acts of hatred and violence.
Whoopi’s characterization of the Holocaust as being between “two groups of white people” is further evidence that many Americans are incapable of understanding race and racism through any prism other than theirs.

What remains to be seen is whether or not the Liberal media will address this ignorant claim, or look the other way. Will ABC or The View address the wrongfulness of these claims? Imagine how quickly they’d be on top of this if someone claimed slavery wasn’t “racially motivated”, but instead was about “how people treat each other”.
