Two Thugs Suspected of Hate Crimes Wanted by NYPD for Attacking Two Orthodox Jews (VIDEO)
The New York Police Department (NYPD) is looking for two black teenagers who are suspected of committing hate crimes after they attacked two Orthodox Jews in Williamsburg this weekend, Yeshiva World reported.
During one incident that was captured on a surveillance camera, a Jewish man was being chased by two teens on Lee Avenue between Taylor Street and Roebling Avenue. One of the suspects stole the victim’s shtreimel (fur hat) after it had fallen to the ground during the chase.
In the second incident, which happened early on Sunday morning, a suspect sprayed a 66-year-old Jewish man twice with a chemical fire extinguisher and then punched him in the face, causing minor injuries.
The incidents are currently being investigated by the NYPD as possible hate crimes.

The New York Police Department’s Hate Crimes Task Force (HCTF) reported that there had been a 76% spike in hate crimes in the city so far this year compared to the same period last year, according to CNN.
According to the data, there were 194 incidents of hate crime reported between January 1 and April 10 of this year, up from 110 during the same period in 2021.
The HCTF reported that the number of offenses committed against Jews has climbed from 28 in 2021 to 86 in 2022.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported that two black teenage girls had been arrested for a hate crime after brutally attacking a 57-year-old white woman on a New York City bus.
The New York City Police Department arrested a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old girl for the attack.
They were identified after their photo was publicly released and a tipster reported them, according to a tweet from the NYPD Hate Crime Task Force.
