Biden Raises Eyebrows After Appearing To Zone Out During MSNBC Interview
President Joe Biden (D) had an awkward moment during an MSNBC interview that aired Friday evening where he was asked about whether he was going to run for president again in 2024.
Biden told MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart, “I have not made that formal decision, but it’s my intention to run again and we’ll have time to make that decision.”
Capehart followed up by asking Biden, “Dr. Biden is for it?”
After a moment of awkward silence, Capehart appeared to have to get Biden’s attention, “Mr. President —.”
Biden finally responded, “Dr. Biden thinks that — my wife thinks that — that we’re doing something very important and that I shouldn’t walk away from it.”

The clip went viral online, garnering millions of views within a matter of hours.
“Now in fairness, this is one of his sharpest appearances of the week,” media personality Jimmy Failla responded.
“Why is no one speaking about the mental capability of Joe Biden?” GBNews host Dan Wooten responded. “This video is incredibly disturbing. Cannot even stay awake while pledging to run again for president. Someone needs to do the right thing by him, the US and the world.”
Media analyst Joe Concha responded, “Something you likely won’t see on SNL’s Weekend Update tonight…”
“His brain barely made it through the first half of ONE term — Run again?” said reporter Nick Givas.
Former Trump adviser Stephen Miller responded, “It is a matter of grave national urgency that elect a Congress to perform oversight on an executive branch headed by a clearly incapacitated individual. VOTE REPUBLICAN.”
Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), who previously served as White House physician for Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump, said that the clip was evidence of cognitive issues with the president.
“In an interview yesterday, Biden was unable to answer if his wife wanted him to run for a 2nd term. He was TOTALLY CONFUSED!” Jackson tweeted. “Our ‘president’ not being able to answer a question like this is a national security THREAT! His cognitive decline is too far gone. He needs to RESIGN NOW!”
Podcast host Stephen L. Miller responded to the clip by writing on Twitter: “The interviewer just sees him go bye bye and then says ‘Mr President..Oh!’ Like welcome back.”
