Government sides with FASCIST BLM, allowing terrorist members to spread GRAFFITI all over America’s cities
There is a double standard of justice taking place in our nation's capital as Washington, D.C. police turn a blind eye to Black Lives Matter (BLM) terrorism while prosecuting those who dare to protest against it.
Entire streets, including the now-rebranded "Black Lives Matter Plaza," have become state-sanctioned graffiti canvases for BLM extremists, but pro-life groups like Black Pre-Born Lives Matter are not even allowed to chalk a sidewalk without being persecuted.
During the summer of 2020 when the world was being mass-injected with Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19) "pandemic" propaganda, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser was busy joining BLM riots and encouraging BLM members to spray-paint public property with their anti-white messaging.
Bowser played an instrumental role in the creation of Black Lives Matter Plaza, a street directly across from the White House that has emblazoned on the ground in giant yellow letters "BLACK LIVES MATTER." This encouraged BLM rioters to break glass, loot stores, start fires, and harm people – at least 26 people died that summer due to BLM "protests."
Meanwhile, protesters with the Frederick Douglass Foundation and Students for Life of America requested to hold a rally on Aug. 1, 2020, for which they received verbal consent from D.C. police officers, only to later be told by the same police officers that they were not allowed to write chalk messages on the ground as was originally the plan.
D.C. Police actually proceeded to arrest the pro-life students and demonstrators for writing washable messages on the sidewalk while BLM protesters were free to vandalized and destroy whatever and whoever got in their way.
"D.C. police repeatedly had allowed vandalism in the name of Black Lives Matter, standing back when protesters tagged streets, sidewalks, and buildings with that message," reported The Daily Signal.
"In one case, vandals spray-painted 16th Street NW, adding to the 'Black Lives Matter' message the words 'Defund the Police.' D.C. authorities did not stop them or rush to erase the message."
Officer who granted pro-lifer protesters verbal consent to mark sidewalk later admitted that authorities did not care about BLM vandalism
Later on, the police officer who granted the pro-life student protesters from the Frederick Douglass Foundation verbal consent to mark up the sidewalk ahead of their 2020 protest admitted that there was clearly a double standard at play concerning the D.C. police department's treatment of BLM versus its treatment of opposing groups.
With Bowser in charge, D.C. police essentially sanctioned BLM's criminal activity, granting its blessing to the rioters. Conversely, anyone who wanted to protest against BLM was refused permission and even taken into custody as punishment.
The Frederick Douglass Foundation and Students for Life of America responded by suing D.C., only to have a U.S. District Court judge dismiss their claims. Then, Judge Neomi Rao, writing for a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, reversed part of the lower court's decision by agreeing that the District violated their free speech rights under the First Amendment.
"The lower court had ruled that the plaintiffs had failed to make a case that the D.C. government engaged in viewpoint discrimination, violating the pro-lifers' free speech rights," the Signal reported about the matter.
"Rao reversed this decision, holding that 'the foundation has plausibly alleged the district discriminated on the basis of viewpoint in the selective enforcement of its defacement ordinance.'"
The Supreme Court's First Amendment jurisprudence dictates that the government is not allowed to regulate certain forms of speech in accordance with a particular viewpoint, which is what D.C. did during BLM's heyday by discriminating against its opponents while allowing group members to destroy the city and country without consequence.
