Murdered “woke” CEO buzzed her black killer into the building – was she sadly trying not to appear “racist”?
Progressive culture teaches white liberals that standing up to specific individuals—mainly black folks—makes them racist. According to this twisted ideology, resisting theft, assault, or even murder from these people will get them labeled “racists.” And God forbid some white liberal calls the police during an attack and actually gets the perpetrator arrested; they’ll find themselves canceled and their lives upended. It’s better for white liberals to just endure the assault and quietly move on. So, when a Forbes “30 Under 30” CEO, a standout entrepreneur with a bright future, was murdered by a black man in her apartment building—a stranger who she buzzed through the door—many naturally wondered if she did so because she didn’t want to appear “racist.”
Refusing to buzz a suspicious-looking black man banging on the door into one’s building—or, God forbid, calling the police—could get a white woman labeled a Karen, a white supremacist, and a racist. It would be considered dangerous stereotyping, white lady tears, and white fragility.
After all, it’s no secret that Pava LaPere was a “woke” progressive who was brainwashed by the media and education system to be very, very conscious of such concerns.
Unfortunately, she didn’t pause to consider safety concerns, and the cost was a brutal and horrific experience.
LaPere appeared to let Billingsley into the building Friday night, security video shows. A man whom authorities believe to be the suspect waved at her through the glass door to come over to him, documents show, after which she opened the door, spoke to him and let him inside. The two then got into the elevator. LaPere lived and worked in the building.
There’s uncertainty about whether this man actually worked in the building. If that’s true, it opens a new can of worms; he’s a violent felon released early and should not be in a position to interact with the public this way.
This is not the first time we have seen a young woman let a strange black man knocking at the door into a building, only to regret it. Earlier this year, a young gym-going woman had to fend off a rape attempt by a suspicious-looking black man who she let into her gym late at night, thinking he was there to work out. And it was all caught on video.
What’s even more concerning is that this dangerous monster was actually under police surveillance at the time, so it’s raising questions as to why the murder wasn’t stoppe
Worley said that investigators are still processing evidence “to determine exactly what occurred” and that they do not know whether there are “any connections” between the victim and the suspect.Billingsley was also suspected of raping a woman days before LaPere’s death and was already under police surveillance, authorities said Thursday. Police, however, declined to tell the public about the incident because they believed it was “targeted,” stirring up criticism that LaPere’s death might have been avoided.
In that incident, Billingsley is accused of slitting a woman’s throat and raping her “several times during the night” before tying her up with duct tape and lighting her on fire, court documents show. Billingsley is also alleged to have handcuffed the woman’s boyfriend and set him ablaze.
The woman told authorities she heard a loud banging at the door on Sept. 19 by a man who said he worked for the building’s maintenance department. (Billingsley was a maintenance worker in the building.)
The man, who was wearing a mask, then kicked in the front door and pointed a gun at her, documents show.
Authorities found a backpack in the building’s back alley that contained many items, including a serrated knife, rolls of duct tape, handcuffs, bleach, a gas can, a lighter and clothing.
Video from an earlier day showed him wearing the clothes that were found in the backpack, according to court documents.
Worley said investigators know why Billingsley allegedly committed the crimes but said he did not want to “talk bad” about the victims.
This dangerous felon was released early by the disgraced former Soros-backed D.A. Marilyn Mosby, who’s about to go on trial for fraud.

In the Baltimore case, we have to ask: where was the police surveillance on the day of this murder and a couple of days before, when this monster sexually assaulted an innocent woman? Obviously, this unsettling case raises numerous unanswered questions. However, the takeaway should be to prioritize your own safety and that of your family, even over the feelings of strange men, minorities, and the “liberal mob.” It’s better to be safe than woke and sorry.
