Sucker-puncher, now arrested and charged, allegedly did worse stuff to unsuspecting folks than just clobber them from behind

A 19-year-old male who admitted to sucker-punching unsuspecting folks while being recorded on video just so he could get likes and views on YouTube and TikTok.

If that isn't disturbing enough, Alford Lewis told KHOU-TV that while he regrets his violent actions, he "just made a mistake, and everybody makes mistakes" and "from the video all you see is the bad part about it."

Well, Lewis allegedly carried out far worse deeds against his sucker-punched victims.

What are the details?

Lewis was charged with assault with bodily injury and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in connection with two incidents that took place last Thursday, KHOU-TV reported in a separate story, citing court documents.

One man told the Harris County Sheriff's Office he was walking on a trail when a male later identified as Lewis approached him from behind and punched him in the head, the station said.

The victim added that he saw a second male recording video of the attack on his phone as Lewis laughed at him, KHOU noted.

The victim asked Lewis why he was doing this, but both Lewis and the second male just continued to laugh, the station said.

The victim also noted that he saw Lewis grab something from a pocket underneath his red hoodie and believed Lewis had a gun, KHOU reported, adding that the victim then tried to de-escalate things by telling Lewis he forgave him.

Lewis and the second male who was taking video just continued to laugh and then ran from the scene, the station said, citing the victim's account to deputies.

Investigators told KHOU they identified Lewis and the male taking video from comments under the video posted to social media — and they also spotted a gun in one of the video stills.

Prior to the aforementioned incident, a similar attack took place involving Lewis and a male taking video, the station said.

Court documents indicate that a second victim was on the same trail and said Lewis approached him and tapped him on the shoulder with a gun in his hand, KHOU reported, adding that the victim also saw another male recording video.

Lewis then pointed the gun at the victim and demanded his phone, the station said, citing court documents. After the victim refused, Lewis asked the victim if he wanted to be shot in the foot, KHOU reported.

Lewis then gave the gun to the male recording video, who kept the gun pointed at the victim, the station said. The victim said Lewis charged at him and hit him several times in the head and upper body, KHOU added. Lewis then put the victim in a choke hold and hit him several more times, the station said.

The victim got away and ran from Lewis and the second male, KHOU reported, adding that investigators said a witness recognized Lewis and the second male from school.

What happened next?

While prosecutors asked for a $75,000 bond for one charge, a judge on Monday evening set bond at $10,000 total for both charges and ordered Lewis to wear an ankle monitor, the station said.
