Fed Up NYC Driver Shoves Anti-Israel Protesters Blocking Traffic: ‘I Have A Daughter In Brooklyn … I Have To Get Home!’
A driver in New York City had enough of anti-Israel protesters blocking traffic in the Big Apple on Monday.
A video posted to X on Monday by Timcast reporter Elad Eliahu showed the angry man confronting a group of anti-Israel protesters who were blocking cars from driving across the Manhattan Bridge. The driver laid on the horn as demonstrators stood in front of his car with some of them approaching him.
“Don’t touch my car,” he told one protester who was standing near the driver’s side window. “You’re disrupting traffic, idiots. You can’t do that. That’s against the law.”
The man, donning a Brooklyn Nets hoodie, then exited his vehicle and walked toward the protesters.
“I’m not going to run you over. Get away from my car, bro,” he said before shoving one person to the ground.
The man then began pushing the other demonstrators standing in his way, yelling, “Get away from my car! I have a daughter in Brooklyn! Get the f*** out of the way … I have to get home!”
The man finally got his vehicle through the group of protesters and sped off.

Anti-Israel protesters blocked traffic at three bridges and a tunnel in New York City as part of their “Shut it Down for Palestine” rally on Monday before police made over 300 arrests, The New York Post reported. NYPD officers detained 209 people at the Brooklyn Bridge, and Port Authority Police arrested 130 people at the Holland Tunnel.
Another video posted to X showed the anti-Israel protesters sitting on the road in front of the Holland tunnel, holding Palestinian flags and chanting, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”
Last week, anti-Israel demonstrators caused flight delays for some New Year’s Day travelers with their “Flood JFK For Gaza” demonstration. The demonstration forced police to temporarily block off the Belt Parkway, a prime route to John F. Kennedy International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the U.S. Of the 60 flights delayed at JFK, 15 of them were delayed because of the anti-Israel protesters, who impeded traffic for over two hours, according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, The New York Post reported.
