Democrats Fume Over SCOTUS Ruling On Immunity, Imply Biden Could Assassinate Trump

 Democrats raged over the Supreme Court’s ruling on Monday that former President Donald Trump is immune from criminal prosecution for official acts taken as president, but not for unofficial conduct.

Justices voted 6-3 along ideological lines in the decision and sent the case in which Trump pleaded not guilty to charges accusing him of unlawfully plotting to overturn the results of the 2020 election back to a lower D.C. court for further review.

“The President is not above the law,” the ruling said. “But under our system of separated powers, the President may not be prosecuted for exercising his core constitutional powers, and he is entitled to at least presumptive immunity from prosecution for his official acts.”

Democrats responded with a range of false and histrionic claims about what the ruling means with some going as far as to claim that President Joe Biden could have Trump assassinated, claim it was an “official act”, and be shielded from prosecution.

“Make no mistake, with the guardrails gone, a reelected President Trump would label everything he did—no matter how partisan, extreme, or overtly criminal—’official,’ and based on this ruling, he’d get away with it,” claimed Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI). “With the radical Supreme Court majority firmly behind him, Donald Trump continues marching toward becoming Dictator-in-Chief. The only thing that can stop him is we, the people.”

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) posted on X: “Today’s Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity adds to the sordid record of dangerous decisions by this court’s nakedly partisan majority that take a wrecking ball to the pillars of American democracy.”

“The fact this awful ruling comes the same week we celebrate Americans joining together 248 years ago to declare independence from monarchy makes today an especially egregious stain on this judicial institution the founders designed to check the concentration of power in 1 person,” he added.

Far-left activists took a line from Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s dissent in which she falsely claimed that the president could order “the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival” and he would be “immune” from prosecution and said that it meant that Biden could have Trump assassinated and get away with it.

“I strongly encourage Joe Biden to take advantage of his absolute immunity — which he has been lawfully granted by Trump’s Supreme Court Justices — to do whatever ‘official acts’ he needs to do in order to prevent Donald Trump from becoming President,” said one far-left activist.

Pro-Biden activist Harry Sisson posted on X: “According to the Supreme Court, Biden could now send in Seal Team 6 to take all of them out. He could send in the military to take out Trump. He has ‘immunity’ for official acts now!”

Trump Campaign Manager Chris LaCivita responded to Sisson’s post by saying that he can “expect a visit” from the U.S. Secret Service.

Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) also responded to Sisson’s post: “Absolutely disgusting that a top Biden surrogate is openly calling for the assassination of President Trump. I hope the Secret Service pays Harry a visit.”
