TPUSA Students Assaulted By Crazed Cyclist With Bike Lock On Texas Campus
A chapter president with Turning Point USA (TPUSA) was reportedly assaulted on campus at University of Texas in Dallas on Tuesday.
Paige Neumann and her chapter vice president Grace were “tabling” — sitting at a table on campus and handing out literature to interested students — when someone approached the table on a bike and then attacked them, shattering both girls’ phones.
TPUSA CEO Charlie Kirk shared videos and photos from the incident, describing what Neumann said had happened and noting that University Police had been briefed on the situation and were actively tracking down the alleged perpetrator.
“JUST IN — Our Chapter President, Paige Neumann, and her secretary Grace were just assaulted while tabling at the University of Texas at Dallas. The attacker took a metal bike lock and slammed it against Paige’s head (pictured below), hitting her so hard that it completely shattered Paige’s phone,” Kirk posted, adding. “It’s unclear if the perpetrator is female or trans.”
“Paige has filed a police report with University Police who are thankfully taking this matter seriously and are currently searching for the individual. Thankfully, Paige and her chapter VP Grace (whose phone was also destroyed) are both physically doing okay,” Kirk added.
“Our @TPUSA students are the tip of the spear on college campuses across the country. They are brave, strong, and resilient. Thank God for these amazing students,” he said.
Kirk later added, “The team suspects this to be the case but is unsure. This individual is believed to be the same person who disrupted a recent event with @alexstein99.”
A producer for “Prime Time with Alex Stein” on The Blaze appeared to agree with Kirk, saying that the alleged perpetrator appeared to be the same person who had caused trouble at an event involving Stein: “This is the same psycho who kicked @AlexStein99’s equipment and then kicked me for filming him.”
